Wine of the week – 1682 Steenberg Brut

At the foot of the mountain,
you will come across a fountain.
Filled with Chardonnay and yeast,
this is a beauty and definitely not a beast.
Expose it to your nose,
it’s bound to tickle you right down to your toes.
It’s crisp and dry,
and everything but shy.
Full of glamour and style,
this wine has a palate as long as the Nile.

The 1682 Steenberg Brut ’08 is harvested and produced at Steenberg Vineyards by JD Pretorious. It’s a classical Methode Cap Classique that’s perfect for any occasion and retails at R120 at the tasting room.
