OBIKWA sticks its neck out with new lower alcohol sweet Moscato photo

OBIKWA, renowned for fun loving, eco-friendly cultivar wines, has stuck its neck out with the launch of the first lower alcohol, sweet wine in this exceptional value for money range – the fruity and refreshing OBIKWA Moscato.

Winner of numerous Best Value awards and the first South African wine to switch to ultra-light weight 350ml Consul glass bottles to minimise its carbon footprint, OBIKWA now also caters for the health conscious wine lover with this new palate friendly, lower alcohol Moscato. This delicately fruity wine blended from three grape varieties – Chenin blanc, Colombar and Muscat – is 25% lower in alcohol at just 7,56vol%, and 10% lower in kilojoules than a normal white table wine.

Despite being a lighter wine, OBIKWA Moscato is soft and refreshing with rich, deliciously full sweet, fruity Muscat flavours and a crisp, clean, sweet finish.

Available in regular 750ml bottles and the party size 1,5 litre magnum, OBIKWA Moscato is delicious well-chilled and is versatile enough to be enjoyed with most of your favourite lunch time meals from summer salads to hearty winter comfort food.

OBIKWA is a down-to-earth range of easy drinking, quality cultivar wines expressing their true varietal character and rich, ethnic charm at an affordable price. The 750 ml bottles sell at around R27 whilst the OBIKWA Moscato 1,5 litre magnum  sells at around R54 at leading outlets country-wide.
