Steenberg Cellar Door Special for July

If you are a fan of Merlot the you better pop around to Steenberg’s tasting room during the month of July.

The Cellar Door Special for July is the 2009 Steenberg Merlot selling for R100 down from R125.

This multi layered merlot shows flavours of buchu, basil and mint on the nose. As it opens up, it flows into dark chocolate and cedar wood. Intense and fine tannins give structure and length to the wine that finishes with great concentration and weight. Enjoy with roast lamb, game, guinea fowl and duck. Will benefit greatly from cellaring. Drink now until 2017.
