Wine Connoisseur claims Rappers ruined Moscato wine
Gil Kulers, writer and wine connoisseur at accessatlanta.com claims that the Hip Hop world and its Rappers are ruining Moscato, also known as Muscat. This dessert wine has become popular in the Hip-Hop community.

Kulers believes that dessert wines must be enjoyed with dessert, not in the back of a limo or as refreshment on the dance floor and certainly not with nonsweet portions of the meal.
Rappers Drake, Roscoe Dash and even Trey Songz make mention of this sweet delight in a number of their songs. Kulers is appauled by this because he fells that many uninformed drinkers are taking cues from Hip-Hop and incorrectly pairing the drink with foods that clash.
The article points out an example of this with a line from Drake’s “Invented Sex” raps:
It’s a celebration
Clap clap bravo.
Lobster and shrimp and a glass of moscato …
finish the whole bottle”
Problem is, Mr Connoisseur did not have his facts straight and stated that the song is by Trey Songz who is not even a Hip Hop artist. Bummer! He also mentioned that it’s not the Wine Curmudgeon’s job to point out that “moscato” and “bottle” don’t rhyme. Erm, then don’t…you are dealing with some hard core gangster in case you forgot, or don’t know…
