A Food and Wine pairing experience at Solms-Delta is an exciting and economical way to entertain staff, family and friends this season and is filling enough to serve as a light meal with a difference… In the shade under the oaks at Fyndraai you can explore the diverse culinary traditions of the Cape: Dutch, Indonesian and Khoisan and taste this traditional cuisine paired with a selection of Solms-Delta and Solms-Astor wines.
From creamy smoked snoek and prawn sambals served under korrelkonfyt grape jam with the Chenin/Clairette Blanche/Semillon Solms-Astor Vastrap to the venison shank ragout cooked with wild rosemary and bloublom salie herbs, paired with our Cape Pinotage led blend Solms-Astor Langarm, this tour is sure to tantalize the senses. It takes between 40mins to 1hr and you need to book in advance.
