Side Stemmed Glassware
Patrons were intrigued when chic restaurants began serving drinks in stemless wineglasses, and I’m sure that a similar reaction would too arise should the rEvolution Wine Glass find its way into bars.
Interestingly, this peculiar piece of stemware comprises most of the parts of a typical glass chalice. Martin Jakobsen’s vessel consists of a gorgeous spherical cup with a smooth circular opening, a slender stock and a flat base. But each of these features has been sculpted in a way rather unlike the archetype.
