Expressions of Robertson and Tulbagh at Taj Cape Town
So far our journey of discovery through the worlds most beautiful winelands has taken us through Wellington and Paarl, Elgin, Cederberg and Lamberts Bay, the Stellenbosch wards of Greater Simonsberg, Stellenbosch Valley and Bottelary Hills. With this month’s ‘Expressions of’ series we continue to pair the wines and cuisine that best represent the regions of Robertson and Tulbagh.
Our guest chef Sandra Papesch of Fraai Uitzicht 1798 Historic Wine & Guest Farm will be preparing some of her award winning dishes. She loves to combine lots of fresh herbs and different spices to giveher creations a nice twist and to freshen up the taste buds.
The Expressions menu for June will be launched on Thursday 31st May at our Wine & Dine with the winemakers. The evening begins at 18h00 with a private wine tasting of selected regional wines, followed at 19h00 for 19h30 with a 6-course tasting dinner with paired wines. Priced at R350 per person including mineral water and parking at Mandela Rhodes Place.
Selected dishes will be available on our MINT restaurant Table d’Hôte dinner menu for the month of June. Two courses @ R175, three courses @ R210 excluding paired wines, which are available by the glass.
