In line with our philosophy of creating distinctive wines expressing our unique terroir, we at Creation are committed to pairing our wines with a menu based on fresh, locally grown produce. We source the finest seasonal ingredients from selected local suppliers and at present more than 80% of all produce on our menus come from local suppliers. In using the home-grown ingredients of our neighbours we’re not only ensuring fresh, flavourful quality, we’re also supporting local industry.
Introducing Richard Bosman’s Quality Cured Meats – our highly rated charcuterie producing Italian and Spanish style cured meats in the time honoured method. With the expertise of fleischmeister Walter Haller, the factory practises traditional salting and drying techniques to produce a superior range of pork delicacies.
Since the quality of the meat is paramount to the excellence of the finished product Richard has developed a special relationship with Hemel-en-Aarde pig farmer, Charlie Crowther. Charlie’s philosophy of farming is about raising happy pigs. They receive no growth hormones and antibiotics; they graze on open pastures and forage under oak forests. Their active lifestyle reflects his ethical farming methods and their diet supplemented by acorns ensures a flavoursome product.
Richard Bosman’s cured meats have integrity – from the breeding and raising to the curing and packing. His range of products – hams, pancetta, coppa, bangers and salami – with all natural casting, is proof of the time and dedication spent perfecting his craft. “If you love cured meats, try ours.
