Tipsy Mushroom Pasta photo

Add some extra flavour to your next mushroom based pasta with a dash of brandy

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 250g fresh mushrooms
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup brandy
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 2 tbsps chopped fresh chives
  • extra olive oil to top
  • your choice of pasta
Method
  • Prepare pasta according to instructions on packet
  • Heat olive oil, chopped mushrooms,seasoning and garlic to a pan and sauté on high heat until soft for about 5 minutes.
  • Remove from the heat and carefully add the brandy to avoid flame ups.
  • Return to the heat and cook until pan juices have slightly thickened.
    Season with chives, salt and pepper and extra olive oil. Enjoy!
