Discover Creation on foot!
Winter is slowly approaching, the nights are getting longer and colder and soon the rain clouds will be gathering over our beautiful Babylon Toren Mountain. At present the vines are donning their colourful autumn garb and the hues are a joy to behold. So too are the wonderful colours beckoning from our fynbos garden: a glorious profusion of purple, red and pink mingles with the green foliage and the garden is alive with birds of all descriptions!
With more than 55 different species of fynbos we have flowers all year round but it seems that this time of year is really, really special. Among our species are a splendid variety of the Protea Family such as sugarbushes (Protea species), pincushions (Leucospermum species), conebushes (Leucadendron species) and some of the rarer shrubs like the spiderheads (Serruria species).
