Burgundy Lovers’ Festival – 7 June @ Protea Hotel Fire & Ice Melrose Arch
Creation’s Chardonnay and Pinot Noir were showcased along with wines from Paul Cluver, Oak Valley, Waterford, Bouchard Finlayson, Hamilton Russell, Newton Johnson, Chamonix, Catherine Marshall, Jordan, Mulderbosch and others. Many guests commented on the quality of Creation’s wines and it was exciting to see how many people recognised the brand, and have been to Creation to visit and experience what we have to offer.
Old Mutual Trophy Public Tasting – 8 June Sandton Johannesburg
Our Creation Merlot 2009 won a silver medal and was exhibited along with the other award-winning wines. The tasting was well-attended by the public as well as members of the wine trade. Some of the guests were introduced to Creation for the first time and were pleasantly surprised by the quality. They also expressed the wish to visit Creation, while those who already had the pleasure of visiting, were looking forward to introducing the farm, tasting room and wines to their friends and family.
