Simonsig wows with two new vintages

Simonsig has just announced the release of two new additions to its award-winning wine list. The Kaapse Vonkel Brut Rosé 2011 and the Frans Malan 2008 have just been launched on the 13th of June 2012.

From the Kaapse Vonkel Brut Rosé you can expect the same delicious and innovative blend that Johan Malan created in 2004 by blending 3 Pinot varieties. This blend incorporates South Africa’s homegrown varietal Pinotage in combination with Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. It has a lovely misty pink colour to it, with sizzling aromas of mixed rose petals, fresh strawberries and red berries with hints of orange peel that lure you in.

The Frans Malan, true to its Cape Style blend, incorporates Cabernet, Pinotage and Merlot. It is a lovely deep Persian carpet red and has an aromatic array of dark berries and with that a visualisation of a delicious black forest cake.
