Our journey through the world’s most beautiful winelands continues to Stellenbosch Berg, Banghoek and Helderberg wards of Stellenbosch. Here the harmonious balance between traditional and modern winemaking styles has enabled us to pair some exceptional wines with the rustic cuisine from this month’s Guest Chef, Janice Anderson of 96 Winery Road. Her inspiration comes from a combination of South African favourites and flavours from around the world, using fresh, often organic and local ingredients.
Launching on Thursday 28 June, the evening will begin at 18h00 with a private tasting with the winemakers from the participating estates and is followed at 19h00 for 19h30 with a 4–course dinner, paired with regional wines. Cost: R350 per person including mineral water and parking at the adjacent Mandela Rhodes Place.
Selected dishes from guest Chef Janice’s Expressions menu will be featured on our MINT restaurant Table d’Hôte menu for the month of July. Two courses @ R175, Three courses @ R210, excl. paired wines.
Our ‘Expressions of…’ launch evenings take place on the last Thursday of each month. Wines featured at the private tasting will be available to purchase on the night at Cellar Door prices through our newly opened wine kiosk which is open seven days a week!
