Good News for Visitors to the Southern Coast

Here’s good news for visitors to the southern Cape coast: Lomond has re-opened its wine-tasting and restaurant facility on the neighbouring Farm 215 which overlooks the large dam and vineyards of Lomond. It was opened on a trial basis over the holiday season in December and January and is intended as a permanent addition to the tourist facilities of the area. The Lomond farm lies beyond Gansbaai in the valley of the Uilenkraal River in the heart of an exciting new winemaking area. Operating under the Lomond banner, the restaurant from its perch on a high hill offers beautiful vistas over the surrounding landscape to the sea in the distance. The restaurant is now open for lunch, wine tastings and wine sales every Sunday. The staff will endeavour to accommodate visits on other days by prior arrangement.
