August Expressions of Walker Bay, Overberg, Elim and Bot River at Taj Cape Town
We now continue our journey west in our “Expressions of…” series and we visit the Jewel of South Africa, with lush indigenous forests, free flowing rivers, expansive lagoons, and majestic mountains combining to create a symphony of natural beauty. You will find a great variety of excellent wines of the surrounding area, which boasts more than 70 wineries. We pair this region with Guest Chef Duane Lewis from Grootbos Nature Reserve, who creates “old school dishes with a modern twist” that are refreshing and contemporary and represent colour, freshness and simplicity.
This coming month’s Expressions menu will be launched on Thursday 26 July at our wine and dine with the winemakers and will be available thereafter on our MINT restaurant Table d’Hôte dinner menu for the month of August. Two courses @ R175, three courses @ R210 includes a glass of wine.
Our “Expressions of…” launch evening on the 26th July begins at 18h00 with a private wine tasting, followed by a 4–course dinner with paired wines at 19h00 for 19h30. R350 per person including mineral water and parking at the adjacent Mandela Rhodes Place.
Wines featured on the night will be available for off-consumption purchase at Cellar Door prices through our newly opened Wine Kiosk which is open seven days a week!
