Thinking Out Of The Bottle – 3D Cava

The 3D age is well and truly upon us with everything now seemingly available in 3D – our movies, our home TV’s and now…..our wine! We came across this 3D bottled Cava yesterday with local importers IB Distribution and decided that we had to give it a try. So, donning the old school 3D glasses (you know, the ones you used to get free in cereal boxes with the red and blue lenses!) we checked out both the outside and the inside of this new, super premium Cava that has just arrived on the Hong Kong market.

Torello by Custo 3D is a Gran Reserva Brut Cava made in the Penedes region of Spain in the D.O Cava appellation. It is made up of local varieties Xarel-lo and Macabeo (73 and 27 per cent respectively) and is hand harvested from the wineries vineyards in Can Marti.
