This promises to be a truly memorable Women’s Month celebration at Grande Roche Hotel. Apart from the gorgeous Creation wines crafted by internationally acclaimed winemaker JC Martin and the terrific food pairings by Chef Roland, you’re in for another special treat. During the course of the meal, Nancy Richards, well-known presenter of the popular SAFM show OTHERWISE: Talking Women, will describe her experiences walking the Camino de Santiago de Compostela in Spain. Known in English as The Way of St. James, this medieval route today attracts modern-day pilgrims like Nancy, who completed the walk in order to raise funds for the Saartjie Baartman Centre for Abused Women in Manenberg. The Camino de Santiago de Compostela is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Nancy will deliver an informal talk, entitled “Women on the Way”, detailing the adventures on her 320km walk.

All in all, the blend of Creation’s celebrated wines, Chef Roland’s complementary menu and Nancy Richards’ lively narrative is sure to leave guests with a stimulating and lingering aftertaste!
